For example, after high school, she made up her mind to study Fashion Design in Italy, although her parents tried to persuade her to study Finance in a top university in China. And finally she persuaded her parents to support her to study in Italy. So that’s one example, and another example is that she married an Italian man. Actually at first her parents didn’t agree with the relationship because they believed that two people from different cultures wouldn’t be able to live a happy life together. But Lisa didn’t want to change her mind at all. She managed the relationship very well and finally got married with the man she loves.Describe a person from whom others like to ask for advice. You should say: Who this person isWhy people like to ask for his/her adviceWhat kind of advice he/she often givesAnd explain how you felt about the person.I’m gonna talk to you about my neighbour, Tony. Actually, he isn’t Chinese. He’s Italian. His wife is Chinese. They’re living in the same apartment building with my family, and we’re very close friends. Tony used to be a chef in a 5-star hotel, so as you can imagine, he’s extremely good at cooking. I still remember the housewarming party he held. It was the first time we had dinner together and since then, he’s been famous in our neighbourhood, mainly because he’s exceptional at preparing and presenting food. Many neighbours enjoy asking for advice from Tony about cooking. Tony can not only cook Italian food, he can also cook Chinese dishes very well, and he often creates fusion dishes. So whenever we have questions, or problems about cooking, we usually visit Tony in his home or call him on the phone, tell him what we want to cook, and he always explains how to cook the dishes better, or in a correct way. He’s very outgoing and hospitable/warm-hearted, and he’s very patient as well. Each time he explains something about cooking, he tells us lots of details and many dos and don’ts.
